Easy Peanut Butter Cookies

      1 c  Peanut butter
      1 c  Sugar
      1 ea Egg
 
Mix together the peanut butter, sugar and egg and drop by teaspoonful onto ungreased cookie sheet.

Press cookies out so that they are not completely flat, but still slightly ball shaped.

Bake at 350 for about 8 to 10 minutes minutes. Immediately press with a fork.

Let cool on sheet a few minutes before removing.

Peanut Butter Cookies

    1/2 c  butter
    1/2 c  brown sugar
    1/2 c  white sugar
      1 ea egg
      1 c  peanut butter
      1 ts salt
    1/2 ts soda
  1 1/2 c  flour
    1/2 ts vanilla
 
Cream together butter and sugars. Add egg, peanut butter, salt and soda.

Mix flour into batter. Add vanilla.

Roll dough into small balls. Flatten with a fork dipped in water.

Bake at 375 degrees F for 10 to 15 minutes.

Makes 60 small cookies.

Peanut Butter Cookies

      1 c  Shortening
    1/2 ts Salt
      1 c  Peanut butter
      1 c  Brown sugar (packed)
      1 c  White sugar
      2 ea Eggs (well beaten)
      1 ts Milk
      2 c  Flour
      1 ts Soda
 
Combine shortening, salt and peanut butter. Add brown and white sugar gradually; cream thoroughly. Add beaten eggs and milk, mixing thoroughly.

Sift flour with soda; add to creamed mixture. Blend well; drop by teaspoonfuls on greased cookie sheets. Let stand a few minutes; press cookies with fork.

Bake in 325-degree oven for 15 to 20 minutes.

Peanut Butter Cookies

  1 1/4 c  Flour
    3/4 ts Baking soda
    1/4 ts Salt
    1/2 c  Butter
    1/2 c  Peanut butter
    1/2 c  Sugar
    1/2 c  Packed brown sugar
      1 ea Egg
    1/2 ts Vanilla
 
Stir together flour, soda, and salt.

In a mixer bowl beat butter for 30 seconds. Add peanut butter and sugars; beat till fluffy. Add egg and vanilla; beat well.

Add dry ingredients to beaten mixture; beat till well combined.

Shape dough into 1 inch balls; roll in granulated sugar, if desired. Place 2 inches apart on an ungreased cookie sheet; crisscross with the tines of a fork.

Bake at 375 for 9-10 minutes .

Cool about 1 minute before removing to a wire rack. Makes 48.

 

Peanut-Butter Kisses

     18 oz creamy peanut butter
  1 1/4 c  granulated sugar
      2 ea large eggs
      9 oz milk-chocolate kisses
 
Heat oven to 350.

Have cookie sheets ready.

With a wooden spoon stir peanut butter, sugar and eggs in a medium-size bowl until thoroughly blended. (Dough will be slightly sticky)

With floured hands roll level measuring tablespoons full into 1 1/4 inch balls.

Place 1 1/2 inches apart on ungreased cookie sheets.

Bake 12 to 14 minutes until cookies look dry with tops crackled.

Remove from oven and immediately press a chocolate kiss in the center of each.

Cool on cookie sheet 1 to 2 minutes, them remove to wire racks. (otherwise, the chocolate kiss will droop)
