No-Bake Cookies Recipes

No-Bake Chocolate Cookies, Peanut Butter Crackles, Oatmeal Fudge Cookies, and Crispie Treats (No Bake)

No-Bake Chocolate Cookies

      2 c  Sugar
    1/2 c  Milk
    1/4 lb Butter
      3 tb Cocoa
      1 ts Salt
      3 c  Rolled oats
      1 ts Vanilla
      1 c  Coconut
 
Put sugar, milk, butter, cocoa and salt in large saucepan; bring to a boil.

Remove from heat; stir in oats, vanilla and coconut. Drop from teaspoonfuls onto waxed paper to cool.

Yield: 48 cookies.

Peanut Butter Crackles

    1/4 c  Peanut butter
      2 tb Water
      2 tb Packed brown sugar
      1 x  Cinnamon
      2 tb Powdered milk
      1 c  Cereal
 
Cook peanut butter, water, sugar, cinnamon and powdered milk in a saucepan over medium heat. Stir constantly until mixture is hot.

Remove from heat and stir in cereal until completely mixed.

Form into balls. Allow to set for 10 minutes before eating.

Oatmeal Fudge Cookies

      3 c  Rolled oats
      1 ts Vanilla extract
      1 c  Nuts, chopped (optional)
      2 c  Sugar, granulated
    1/2 c  Cocoa powder
    1/2 c  Evaporated milk
    1/4 lb Butter
 
Combine oats, vanilla and nuts in a bowl and set aside.

Combine sugar, cocoa and evaporated milk in a sauce pan and bring to a rolling boil over medium-high heat. Stir constantly to avoid burning.

Let boil for 2 or 3 minutes.
 
Remove pan from heat and add the butter, stirring until the butter is well blended. Quickly add the oat mixture to the pan and stir until well mixed.
 
Drop by the spoonful onto waxed paper.

Let cool for 2 hours to before serving.

Crispie Treats (No Bake)

      4 c  Minature marshmallows
    1/4 c  Margarine
    1/2 c  Peanut Butter
    1/8 ts Salt
      4 c  Crisp Rice Cereal
  1 1/2 c  M&M's Plain or Peanut Candy
 
Melt together marshmallows, margarine, peanut butter and salt in heavy saucepan over low heat, stirring occasionally, until smooth.

Pour over combined cereal and candies, tossing lightly until thoroughly coated.

With greased fingers, gently shake into 1-1/2-inch balls. Place on waxed paper; cool at room temperature until set.
 
Makes about 3 dozen cookies.
